Job Description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will act as a key point of contact between our firm and our clients. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and on time.
You will work closely with accountants, tax professionals, and administrative staff to support client engagements and maintain a high standard of service. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities will be essential to your success in this position.
This role does not involve sales or cold outreach. Instead, it focuses on maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while supporting the delivery of accounting and advisory services.
During your probationary period, you will receive structured onboarding and guidance from senior team members to help you become familiar with our processes, systems, and client base.
Essential Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Coordinate client requests with accounting and tax teams
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist in onboarding new clients and organizing engagement documentation
- Review client-submitted information for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate deadlines, requirements, and updates to clients
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and activities
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and client experience
- Support internal coordination between departments
On a Typical Day, You'll
- Communicate with clients via email and phone
- Coordinate ongoing projects with internal teams
- Track deadlines for tax filings and financial reporting
- Follow up with clients regarding required documentation
- Ensure all client requests are handled efficiently and professionally
- Maintain organization across multiple client accounts
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Professional and client-focused mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in accounting, finance, or professional services is considered an asset
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in account management, client services, or administrative coordination
- Experience working in a professional office environment

Compensation and Bonuses
